Mother Teresa's death is nothing
Death is nothing, I'm
only spent in the next room.
What we were for each other,
We still are.
Give me the name you gave me always.
Tell me as you have always done.
Do not use a different tone.
Do not look sad or solemn.
Continue to laugh that made us laugh.
Pray, smile,
Think of me.
That my name is spoken at home
As it has always been
Without emphasis of any kind and without trace of shadow.
Life means what it has always meant
It remains what it always has been.
The wire is not cut.
Why should I be out of your thoughts: Just because I
sui out of your sight?
I'll wait.
I'm not far.
Just across the road.
Charles Peguy
