Access: Examples of databases

few days ago I switched the language of the interface of my Access 2007 application on English and I was surprised by exploring models online Access databases, to find models that are not available in a French interface.

What disappointed me most is that two of these models are examples that answer questions often asked and unfortunately only people with an interface English could be accessed.

Then I remembered that these examples were online. So I did a search on the web and I found the page that allows them to download here is the link Office Online / Templates / Access Databases / Access 2007 Databases / Samples

Description of the two models: The models

1. The first model is called "How to calculate age " or "How to calculate the age" and offers two functions to calculate age and then display it in the form of years or as years and months.
2. The second more interesting "How to synchronize combo boxes" or "How to Synchronize drop down" to filter the contents of a combo B depending on the choice made from a dropdown A. Moreover, to achieve both methods are presented, one uses macros, so that the second pass through VBA code.
